Assistant Physician (m/w/d) Pathology

For our Institute for Pathology we are looking for a engaged assistant physician / a engaged assistant physician, who supports our team with interest in diagnostics and scientific curiosity in the comprehensive investigation and analysis of tissue samples - limited to two years!

The University Institute for Pathology is methodical, apparatus and equipped with more than 80 employees in person according to the requirements of a clinic of maximum care. It has all common techniques and methods of the subject of pathology. In addition to the Nuremberg Clinic, hospitals in the surrounding area as well as external practices are also provided.

The Digitalization of Pathology is under construction – we are looking forward to applicants Applicants who are interested in actively shaping this process.

Tasks:

• Medical assistance activities in the field of clinical obduction and cutting
• carrying out histological and cytological studies of all organ systems
• Evaluation and interpretation of immunohistochemical and molecular pathological findings under guidance
• Creation of reports and documentation of the results
• Participation in student teaching as part of the Human Medicine course of the Paracelsus Medical Private University

Requirements:

• Approbation as doctor / doctor
• Professional experience in pathology or neuropathology **
• Enthusiasm for the field of pathology and interest in corresponding specialist training
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
• Team spirit, reliability and performance
