Head of the Qualification Department

Your tasks: As part of the management of the department, you are responsible for personnel management, personnel deployment and work organisation, as well as the management of safety and health at work of employees. The department comprises 3 units with approximately 28 employees, mainly at the Dresden site but also at other DGUV locations. Further awaits you: Technical, methodological and technical development of the qualification for safety and health at work Budgeting, cost center monitoring and cost center responsibility for the department Advising and reporting to the management of the DGUV Academy Operator responsibility for the field of practice in the department Cooperation in bodies, committees and working groups of the DGUV and other institutions, possibly also their management Teaching and event activities Topic development and practical transfer, in particular consultation of members, as well as initiation, management and cooperation in interdisciplinary research, development and consulting projects Publications on the subject

Completed academic degree (Master or Diploma) Proof of scientific qualification desirable (e.g. promotion) Long-standing experience in a leadership position as well as in the management of interdisciplinary projects and teams Professional experience in adult education Experiences in project management and controlling, as well as interdisciplinary cross-departmental project work and expert panel work Knowledge of accident insurance and social security systems in Germany Conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation skills Creativity, innovativeness and service orientation Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), and good knowledge of English readiness to regular, also multi-day missions
