You take over the strategic and operational control of central IT service providers, in particular managed service providers and other specialised providers. You monitor agreed SLAs and KPIs, perform service reviews and initiate appropriate measures or escalations in case of deviations. You build a transparent service provider reporting and provide an overview of availability, incidents, performance quality and risks. You are responsible for IT contract management for service provider contracts, performance certificates, AVV, durations, termination periods and extension options. You accompany contract negotiations together with purchasing and legal department and ensure compliance with relevant governance and compliance requirements. You prepare IT alert procedures, create performance descriptions and request catalogs and evaluate offers professional, commercial and compliance-related. You control transition and onboarding processes for service provider changes and secure knowledge transfer, documentation transfers and go-live releases. You check service provider compliance, including information security, ISO 27001, NIS2, BSI IT basic protection and relevant supply chain requirements. You work closely with IT architecture, security, purchasing, law, IT governance, demand management and departments.

You have completed a Master's or Diploma in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration with IT focus or a comparable discipline. You bring several years of professional experience in IT service provider management, IT purchasing, IT contract management or a comparable function. You have experience in managing managed service providers, ideally also in the environment of MSP, MSSP, cloud providers or application service providers. You have a well-founded knowledge of IT contract management, SLA design and the evaluation of IT services. You have experience in preparing and implementing IT alert procedures. You know ITIL or comparable service management approaches; certification is advantageous. You ideally bring experience with service provider compliance requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIS2, BSI IT basic protection or supply chain security. Experience in regulated industries, in particular in the energy sector, in utilities or in the KRITIS environment, is advantageous. Knowledge of unbundling requirements, cloud service models or transition projects for service providers is desirable. You have very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing. You work in a structured, precise and highly demanding way of quality of contract, service and documentation. You communicate binding, negotiate sovereignly and bring about enforcement, analytical thinking and team capacity.
