Trader Equity Derivatives (m/f/d)

Market Making (pricing, acting, hedging) of HSBC own emissions. The focus is on stocks and indices, supplemented by currencies, interest rates, commodities. Active P&L responsibility for the associated book and comprehensive risk management of the port foils and position management in compliance with risk limits Current analysis and validation of pricing parameters (e.g. dividend curves, volatility areas, interest rate structures) and their adaptation to the market environment. Close cooperation with sales teams in pricing requests from institutional customers and active exchange with other trading departments within the HSBC Group Emissions of warrants, knock-out products and investment products as well as alignment of the product spectrum to market conditions Proactive cooperation in improving pricing algorithms, automation tools and risk management systems in cooperation with IT and Quants. Working in developing new product ideas and identifying market trends

Higher education with a quantitative focus (financial mathematics, mathematics, physics, computer science or business administration) Multiannual relevant trading experience in the field of Derivatives (primarily equity, but also cross-asset experience is welcome) Deep understanding of option price models and the mechanisms of the certificate market Ability to make decisions quickly, disciplined and risk-conscious even in volatile market phases Good programming knowledge in Python or comparable are advantageous to efficiently use or develop analysis tools German and English knowledge and the ability to communicate complex facts clearly High level of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking Even if you believe that you do not meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage you to apply if you believe this place is the right one for you. *For better legibility and understanding, we use gender-specific terms.
