Editor with a focus on local politics (m/f/d)

You are part of the local content team of the Ruhr News in Dortmund as editor (m/w/d). You build an intensive network in Dortmund's political business and city society. You always have a look at the political moods, themes and processes in Dortmund and thereby conduct a relevant and digitally successful reporting. You can also find topics away from the obvious, you have an eye for inconsistencies and a feeling for the interests of your audience. You can manage the reporting of engagement factors and user needs and look at the relevant key figures.

You have several years of professional experience with political reporting, ideally in local or regional policy. You can not only write and photograph, but also bring experience in digital storytelling, video production and camera. You're a team player (m/w/d) and you're looking for locals. Dortmund as a place of residence is self-evident for you as an editor (m/w/d). Of course, you also work on weekends, outskirts and shiftwork.
