Senior Project Manager PMO - International Strategic Purchasing (m/f/d)

You actively promote the development of a central project management office (PMO) in international strategic purchasing, define standards and processes and are responsible for their corporate introduction. Practice-oriented methods and proven best practices will be developed in a targeted manner and will provide them with trainings to buyers in the Würth Group with the aim of professionalizing purchasing processes such as the negotiation management in a sustainable manner. Under your leadership, a KPI system is created to measure and control purchasing processes, you continuously monitor the performance of the key figures and prepare the results regularly to address them to enable sound management decisions. You build an internationally scalable reporting system including (excel) dashboards, ensure data quality and integrate new projects automatically into the existing structure. As a central interface within the Würth Group, the national companies accompany you in the introduction of standards, KPIs and training measures and communicate with stakeholders at senior/C levels. Synergy potentials in purchasing processes, for example in supplier contracts or sourcing plans, identify systematically, evaluate these strategically and use them specifically to achieve group-wide efficiency gains.

A successfully completed economic studies - ideally with the focus on purchasing, supply chain management or comparable orientation. Multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing in PMO or in consulting - at best with international project experience. Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP®, PRINCE2®, IPMA) and further training in strategic purchasing (e.g. via the BME Academy or Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous. Excellent Excel features (Dashboard-Aufbau, KPI-Tracking, Pivot Analysis) as well as a safe handling of other MS Office applications and digital collaboration tools. Empathy, enforcement strength and address-oriented communication are among your strengths - especially towards senior stakeholders and top management.
