As a subsidiary of DB AG, DB Energie takes care of the energy supply of trains, railway systems and real estate. As a network operator, we manage the 16,7-Hz railway network, closed 50-Hz distribution networks as well as the DC supply systems of the S-Bahns Berlin and Hamburg. As a project manager: you are part of DB Energie GmbH, the energy supply company of Deutsche Bahn and the technical project management team for investment projects of approximately 11 people. The department has the main task of renewing and expanding the electrical supply structure for the entire group. At the next time we are looking for you as an electrical engineer:in as project manager:in investment projects for the energy infrastructure (w/m/d) for DB Energie GmbH at the Berlin site. To be perfectly prepared for your new tasks, you will be “tracked” with us in an onboarding program tailor-made for you. These include basic and specialist training, training plan and smaller task packages that are specifically adapted to your work. We also provide you with personal care through sponsors and mentors. Your tasks: In the project business, you assume the overall responsibility for the safety and cost-effectiveness of your projects over all phases of performance and ensure efficient management of the project members You are the conductor of the projects assigned to you and perform all tasks from the initial planning phases to the transfer of the completed plant to the customer and are the interface to all project participants By way of example, you will guide the renewal of a railway power supply converter – from technical planning to procurement and construction to commissioning, in compliance with all safety-relevant and operational requirements In implementing the projects, the recognised rules of technology, applicable standards, guidelines and economic principles are consistently taken into account. The involvement of authorities and third parties as well as the organisation of public-law authorisations, such as in the framework of planning and approval procedures, are also part of the task of ensuring compliance with all requirements of the Federal Railway Agency. Digital tools and modern project management methods are used in a targeted manner and are continuously developed together with the team. Your profile: A completed technical study as an electrical engineer:in, economic engineer:in focus of electrical engineering, your ticket to the project management of DB Energie GmbH You bring at least two years of professional experience in project management of technical investment or infrastructure projects Experience with electrical energy systems, ideally in the field of high-voltage, medium-voltage or energy-technical infrastructure, distinguishes you Knowledge in VOB, HOAI as well as ideally first contact points with the BIM method are present You work safely with MS Office and ideally have experience with project management, ERP or document management systems (e.g. SAP, iTWO, Doxis) A structured, self-responsive way of working and decision-making and enforcement are your strengths Occasionary business trips are a sympathetic change in everyday work (about 10%) and you like to work in interdisciplinary project teams Analytical thinking, pragmatic solutions and a strong sense of responsibility shape your professional action
