As Chief Engineer (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the further development of unmanned aviation systems within the area of Chief Engineering of Aircraft Development. They report directly to the Head of Development. Your tasks: Implementation of all development management activities to achieve the project objectives Development planning and control according to the development process SAE ARP 4754 as well as the internal requirements of the aeronautical operation Technical leadership of the development team in the fields of system, device and SW development for the respective project Monitoring of technical and temporal progress and taking action in the event of deviations Ensuring compliance with certification and qualification requirements Editing design decisions in consultation with the Head of Development Operations, departments and project management Negotiating technical solutions with the client Opportunities and risk management at technical level Contribution to the improvement of procedures, processes and tools

Complete study of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable Multiannual professional experience in aviation Knowledge of standards DO-178, DO-254 and ARP 4754 Detectional experience in project management and management of development projects Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Very good communication skills Analytical, structured and conceptual thinking and approach
