IT Systems Engineer / IT Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on architecture and control (m/f/d)

As an IT system engineer:in / IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) you take over a central control and architecture role in our software house. You will continue to design our hybrid IT infrastructure, define technical standards and ensure together with external IT service providers for safe, stable and scalable operation. Your tasks in detail: Architecture, development and standardization of our hybrid IT infrastructure with on-premises, cloud and network components Technical responsibility for Microsoft Azure, network structures, access protection, identity & access management, and central infrastructure services Definition of security, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery concepts and ensuring their effective implementation Control of external IT service providers including task clarification, prioritization, quality control and follow-up of agreed services Interface between development, internal departments, management and external partners in infrastructure and security issues Assessment of technical risks, deriving appropriate measures and ensuring compliance and data protection requirements, in particular in the handling of customer data Documentation of target architectures, operating standards, responsibilities and escalation paths

Qualification: Successfully completed IT vocational training or completed studies in the field of computer science, information technology or a comparable discipline Found experience in the design and development of hybrid IT infrastructures Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, Networking, Identity & Access Management, Security and Operating Processes Experience in managing external IT service providers and evaluating quality, risks and implementation results Basic understanding for monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, patch management and incident management at conceptual level Safe handling of documentation, technical concepts and the translation of technical requirements in resilient infrastructure decisions Basic understanding of software development, devOps and database environments is desirable Very good German knowledge (at least C1) Good knowledge of English (at least B2) Personal strengths: Structured, independent and conceptual work Impressed communication and moderation capability to internal stakeholders and external service providers Analytical thinking, risk awareness and solution-oriented action Ability to prioritize, delegate and implement operational issues effectively
