EC 6 TVöD** for garden, cemetery and forestry** The garden, cemetery and forest office of the Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf maintains with around 650 employees the urban green areas and open spaces as well as cemetery and forest areas. With around 200 employees, the Friedhöfe department operates 13 municipal cemeteries with a total area of around 263 hectares. The place of use is at the Itter cemetery. Use on another city cemetery is possible.

Your tasks:

• practical and organizational burial activities, such as the implementation of arrangements and embedding, including opening and closing of graves
• Leading and starting work teams in the funeral area
• active cooperation and guidance in the funeral column
• Working in the work and personnel deployment planning
• Ensuring the fault-free handling of the funerals, as well as organisation and control of the chapel service before the funeral celebrations
• Representation of customer master and care of the customers, among others, at the grave sale.

Your profile:

• completed three-year vocational training in a profession of cemetery, gardener, or in a craft occupation which promotes this activity
• Management competence/capacity
• multiannual experience in the practical work of a municipal
• cemetery, especially in the service
• high level of responsibility and willingness to perform
• Teamability and social competence and empathy with regard to the particular concerns and requirements of grief
• knowledge of IT standard software and the application of
• Graveyard management program, wage data collection and order billing desirable
• Ownership of the unrestricted driving licence of class 3 or EU standard B.
