At BBH Solutions AG, the legal-tech startup of the renowned BBH Group, we are shaping the future of legal advice. Since 2021 we have been developing and distributing innovative software solutions that digitize the legal market. We stand at a crucial point in our growth and build our internal engineering team. That's why we're looking for a passionate and experienced person as a full-stack engineer (m/w/d), who sets the technical basis for our future successes as one of the first in the team. You are responsible for the technical foundation of our products. You will not only write codes, but also shape the software architecture and translate our technological vision into reality. In close cooperation with the Product Owner and external partners: you will develop robust, scalable and intelligent solutions. Use the latest technologies and AI-based tools to raise the efficiency and quality of our development to a new level. Fullstack development: You design, develop and operate demanding web applications. From backend to APIs to frontend. Architecture design: You make sound architectural decisions and are responsible for building a scalable, secure and manageable system landscape in a modern cloud environment. AI-assisted engineering: You actively evaluate and integrate modern AI tools (e.g. GitHub copilot) into our development process to increase productivity and secure code quality. Technical interface: You act as a technical contact for external service providers: inside and work closely with them. You define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of your work. Building and Ownership: You take responsibility from the outset, build our CI/CD pipelines, establish best practices for testing and code reviews, and shape the agile culture in a small, built-up team. Innovation: You are proactively introducing new ideas and technologies to continuously improve and make our legal technology products sustainable.

Experience: You bring multi-year, well-founded professional experience in full-stack software development and have proven to accompany complex web applications from conception to operation. Tech-Stack: You can safely master a modern technology range, such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, common frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.), relational and NoSQL databases as well as cloud platforms. Architecture competence: You have experience in designing and implementing scalable software architectures (e.g. microservices, API design) and understand the related trade-offs. AI affinity: You have a strong interest in and ideally first practical experience with AI tools in engineering and are curious to fully exploit their potential. Self-responsibility & team spirit: You work extremely autonomously, like to override responsibility and at the same time have the desire to work closely together in a small team and to find the best solution together. Communication strength: You can communicate technical concepts clearly and understandably, both in the team and in external partners. Language skills: Their knowledge of German is at native level (C2) in word and writing.
