As an IT expert (m/w/d) for development platforms (DevOps Engineer) you provide the colleagues with powerful services for modern software development across the company (Platform Engineering). Starting with development environments (IDEs), through repositories and test automation, up to CI/CD pipelines, dependency and package management, governance and methodology, among others for FOSS and SBOM. You understand the practical needs, evaluate technologies and introduce standardized, secure and scalable software development solutions that integrate seamlessly into the Amprion IT. Keep in mind new possibilities of AI-assisted software development and integrate them responsibly into our toolchains and processes.

Conception, construction and provision of company-wide software development solutions (Developer Services) incl. Ki-supported development tools: IDEs, version control, build/release, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, package and artifact management as well as Atlassian. Assessment and selection of suitable platforms and tools (Make or Buy), standardization of actions, templates and best practices. Ensuring scalability, security and stability throughout the life cycle. Establishing governance and methodology, including FOSS and SBOM (e.g. guidelines, workflows, tooling) in coordination with security, compliance and the relevant teams. Integration into development and release processes. Complete study of (economic) informatics, natural sciences or a comparable qualification, as well as practical experience in software development and/or building developer services. Knowledge of modern software engineering practices (Governance and Methodology): version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD, test automation, build and release management, package and artifact management. Experience with the introduction, integration and operation of development tools and DevOps toolchains in corporate environments - with solid understanding of security, governance and compliance. Sovereign cooperation with stakeholders (development teams, service management, security/compliance, specialist areas) as well as strong communication and documentation capability. Analytical and conceptual strength, structured working, high service orientation and joy in establishing standards and good practices. Practice with common platforms and tools (e.g. GitHub/GitLab, Azure/Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory, SCA/SAST/DAST-Tools, Visual Studio Code/IntelliJ, Anaconda/PyCharm, Dev Box/Managed DevOps Pools) and integration into ITSM/CMBow systems.
