This makes this job interesting for me: I take the 'Technical Monitoring Centre' in the control room. I monitor high-voltage systems in north-east Germany, so care for a smooth operation of the systems. In doing so, I am responsible for the implementation of the operational and power grid management that is appropriate to the requirements. My tasks: I make sure that the power grids are supplied with energy in my area of responsibility, I carry out switching operations and instruct them, I receive, impart and obtain permission to work and coordinate operational shutdown requirements on the plants, During my service, I capture and document operations and disruption events, I take part in the elimination of faults or damages and in this case initiate emergency measures, I make sure that the documentation for plant operation is always up to date, I take part in on-site inspections and audits (e.g. operation, work and environmental protection, ...).

A completed training as a masterin / technician in the field of electronics, electrical engineering or energy technology, A driving licence of Class B and the health conditions for a driving and tax activity, In the first one to two years, I am familiar with the systems of our power grid as part of a good incorporation, I will then assign the switching permissions for the selected substations and for the technical monitoring site. This is the prerequisite for the acquisition of plant responsibility in the power grid, I master the German language fluently in word and writing (C1) and bring good English knowledge (B2).
