You want to make an active contribution to the development of the energy future? You will find the world of energy and would like to get to know it completely? Your dual study of energy management (B. Eng) will start with us and accompany us in the transformation of energy efficiency to climate-new, green gases and water! As a transport network operator, we are responsible for the safe supply of heat and electricity in Baden-Württemberg and Hessen. With our 2.750 km long network, we transmit gas from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance – around the clock. Germany is on the way to climate change, we are part of this process. With the reliable transfer of earth gas, we secure the heat and power supply during the de­ci­sion. In future, our gas infrastructure will be ready for the transfer of water.

At the beginning of the study on 1 October 2025 we are looking for you as a student:in (m/w/d) for a dual study of energy management (B. Eng.) 2025. The dual study takes place in cooperation with DHBW Mannheim and takes six semesters. During the dual study, the theoretical phases at the DHBW Mannheim and practical phases change in our company in the rhythm of three months. The theoretical phases take place at the DHBW Mannheim office in Eppelheim. In your practical phases, you will be working mainly at our headquarters in Stuttgart.

The unique dual study of energy management (B. Eng.) in Baden-Württemberg offers you the ideal entry into an exciting and future-oriented economy, which is becoming increasingly important through the energy transition. The course combines economic and technological content. Through the interdisciplinar study, you will get to know the energy economy in a holistic way and will be ideally prepared for the start of work. This is what awaits you in practical phases During the practical phases at terranets bw you apply your knowledge learned at the university directly in practice. You will gain practical experience in various areas and areas of our enterprise (e.g. asset management, network development and target network planning for the natural gas and future water network, IT, network customer support, project management, accounting and personnel management). This allows you to get to know terranets. At the end of your studies, you will be in the form of an all-rounder (m/w/d) in the energy sector and you will be able to provide a variety of professional activities in the world of the energy industry.
