Number: MER0003Y3V Are you studying an MINT study program and interested in an internship with strong reference to electromobility? You have fun working in the interface between pre/development, production and quality? Then, from April 2026, you will find an exciting topic in the field of plastics technology! We are part of the planning and production technology center for the drivetrain at Untertürkheim. In cooperation with the other teams, we provide the latest and most innovative technologies in the production environment and secure the degree of ripening up to series production. In addition to many manufacturing and measuring technical and further questions from the development and quality sector, our team is working on. We also develop innovative manufacturing processes and processes for high-quality powertrain applications. Injection into coating technology in particular spray coatings for corrosion protection applications in the E-motor Test planning, implementation and evaluation for process and material development and product validation Analysis of production influences on the properties of corrosion protection layers Materials and microstructural analysis of coatings Characterization of functional properties of corrosion protection layers (e.g. layer thickness, layer adhesion, corrosion analyses) Conducting statistical investigations to determine relevant functional properties in the E-motor Design, material and technology development for future electric motors

Course: Natural, engineering, technical or comparable course of study with deepening process engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, lightweight construction, etc. Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS-Office, CAD Technology affinity and enthusiasm for mobility, structured and targeted working methods, analytical skills, committed working methods and strong team skills, and a high level of communication skills driving licence class B Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
