Fire Protection Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for you for the School Administration Office of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The body shall be occupied in part-time (50 %) and indefinitely. The school administration office fulfils all school-leaving tasks for the approximately 150 urban schools of all kinds. The operator responsibility team plays a central role in ensuring the proper operation of urban school buildings and school sports facilities. With regard to operator requirements, we are responsible, inter alia, for the processing of basic questions and for the development of standards and planning bases for school building and school renovation projects. Every person in our team has their technical focus.

Thanks to you, the safe operation of the school and sports facilities is guaranteed, as you take care of the testing, identification and analysis of current operator requirements in the fire protection sector You create internal standards for plant fire protection Support in the assessment of fire protection concepts and the assessment of fire hazards Assessment and approval of firefall tax matrices As a competent contact person, you will be in close contact with fire protection topics with school management, schoolmasters, technical teaching staff and other offices, fire directors and third parties, and thus contribute to the proper cooperation of all participants. A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed study (Bachelor/Master/Diplom-Ing. FH/TU/TH/...) in the field of fire protection, safety technology, danger prevention, architecture, civil engineering (probably with intensifying fire protection), facility management, real estate management or a comparable field of expertise In the case of foreign financial statements, the submission of a recognition in Germany and a German translation is required. A training as an expert or expert planner for preventive fire protection is ideal Basic knowledge of building and plant engineering fire protection incl. Experience in the creation of fire protection concepts is desirable An independent, structured, reliable and target-oriented way of working with a high degree of sense of responsibility as well as the willingness and ability to further develop in fire-protection topics and to develop them professionally A very good oral and written expression in German as well as a friendly, binding and competent appearance
