Head of Mainframe Development / Group Leader (m/f/d)

Discipline leadership of a team of software developers and their promotion and further development through regular feedback talks, coachings and mentorings Planning and control of developer capacities in close cooperation with other departments and stakeholders Designing a framework and environment to ensure high quality standards in software development using best practices Supporting architecture initiatives in the mainframe environment (Legacy Modernisation, API Enabling, Automation Security/DevOps pipeline) Design and development of the mainframe development environment and processes, upgrade of the team towards Java z/OS, modern modular development and responsible AI tool usage Advising IT employees on personal business issues and internal and external sourcing

Complete study of computer science, economic informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual, deep experience and knowledge in the environment of IBM Mainframe (COBOL, DB2, IMS-DB and IMS/TM, JCL, Control-M; Java z/OS and web service processing via IBM Middleware components; Changeman, RACF and test and release procedures in the z/OS environment) Experience in the disciplinary leadership of employees and successful completion of the suitability diagnosis process according to LBBW standards Safe handling of development and production repositories (XInfo, eXplain) for impact analyses and quality assurance Domain understanding in securities business (capital market/value paper processes and regulators) Own-sponsored and team-oriented working with the focus on continuous development and promotion of the team Impressed team skills, communication strength, readiness to change and ''a good sense of humor'' Ability to convey complex facts to the addressee Very good knowledge of German and English
