Training contents

Get to know the basics: You learn basics about work safety, environmental protection, digitalization, technical communication, material science, planning and organization of work processes. Understanding supply: You will learn how to build and function a district heating network. Mounting pipe systems: Theoretical knowledge is given to you in the professional assembly of pipelines, house connections, shaped pieces and fittings. Read technical plans: Read pipeline and assembly plans, record pipeline profiles, create isometric sketches and plan workflows including material disposition. Testing systems: You can perform tightness, pressure and function tests on pipeline systems and assess measurement results.

Practical phases

Knowing thermal networks in practice: During the operation of a heat network, you can work together to get to know the technical processes and relationships of reliable heat supply. Construction and maintenance of heat pipes: During the construction, assembly and maintenance of heat pipes, you can participate and gain practical experience in the handling of technical systems and line systems. Use connection techniques: You will get to know various pipe connection and welding techniques, understand their applications and support them in the practical implementation. Detection and troubleshooting: Inspections and maintenance work, you may participate, systematically analyze technical disturbances and assist in their professional removal. Discover other areas of heat supply: You get insights into different technical areas of heat supply and learn about the diverse tasks and possibilities of use within the department

You have at least one good primary school degree and are interested in technology and craftsmanship. Craft skills and technical understanding are your strengths. You also bring spatial imagination. You work carefully and accurately and enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks. Physical resilience brings you with you and enjoy working outdoors and at different locations. You have good performances in mathematics, technology, works and physics and are motivated to apply and develop your knowledge during training.
