In this responsible position, you play a central role in the medical, organizational and strategic construction of our new geriatric department. Your tasks include: Construction and further development of the new geriatric treatment unit with initially 20 beds Medical and organizational management of an interdisciplinary acuperiatric unit Development and establishment of modern geriatric treatment concepts, diagnostic standards and interdisciplinary treatment paths Building sustainable interdisciplinary structures and close cooperation with relevant specialist departments, in particular accident surgery, orthopaedics and internal medicine Networking with the existing geriatric structures within the KNO network Professional and personal development of the geriatric team as well as the promotion of an appreciation of interprofessional cooperation Ensuring high-quality diagnostics and therapy throughout the spectrum of internal medicine and geriatrics Designing quality management, further education and the strategic development of old age medicine

You are a specialist (m/w/d) for internal medicine and have the additional name Geriatrie. You bring well-founded clinical experience in the diagnosis and therapy of both the general internal medicine and the geriatric and ideally already have extensive experience in a leading function. We are particularly important: Multiannual experience in geriatrics and in interdisciplinary patient care Detectional experience in building, developing or reorganizing clinical structures Representative medical and organizational leadership skills Joy in developing a geriatric department conceptually and successfully establishing it in the long term Experience in leadership and development of multi-professional teams Embossed understanding of modern, evidence-based and holistic age medicine High competence in interdisciplinary cooperation and in interface management Embossed social competence, empathy and an appreciation of older and multimorbid patients and their relatives An additional designation of palliative medicine or other relevant qualifications is expressly desirable. We also welcome experience in medical teaching, quality assurance, clinical projects or in the scientific environment.

We offer you a high-voltage leadership position with real design playroom within a large and modern clinic network. For the purposes of the European legal requirements for payment transparency, the remuneration for this position shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of the TV doctor/VKA in the remuneration group IV. Depending on your individual professional experience, this results in a monthly gross salary gap between level 1 (11.127.50 €) and level 2 (11.922,95 €). The grouping corresponds to the responsible importance of the position and offers you a long-term professional perspective with a wide range of development and design possibilities.
