For our growing district we are looking for social workers / social pedagogues for the social and process consulting (m/w/d) with a focus on the protection of violence right now at the site in the Kornwestheim initial recording facility. The first reception facility is the first contact point for asyl-seeking people: You are at the end of a long journey, partly, and on the other hand their asylum procedure begins here in Germany. The social and procedural advice at the Kornwestheim First Recording Centre supports precisely this approach. It advises people in different situations of life, from different countries and cultures. On-site staff are continuously accompanied professionally and receive regular training.

You are one of the first points of contact for the newly arriving asyl-seeing people in Germany and give them a first orientation You offer advice for help seekers from different situations of life with different problems You support asylum seekers in their daily lives in the first place to understand processes and to simplify living with other people You advise people in need and resource oriented and empowering You support and accompany social, asylum and residence issues and empower people to understand the help system in Germany You identify particularly vulnerable people and work preventively on the protection of violence in the institution You work closely with the government office and the agency management You cooperate with specialist advisory bodies and build a network with other actors in migration work

Complete study of social work, pedagogy or comparable qualification Experience in the areas of flight or migration Social and intercultural competence High level of initiative and proactive action Friendly and empathy appearance Ability to build and maintain networks Communication and organizational talent Foreign language knowledge of advantage Identification with the values and objectives of the Maltese Service
