Education, care and promotion – as individual as the children in Kiel Since 1995, the Janusz Korczak House, as a kita of the Catholic parish of Assisi in Kiel, has welcomed the smallest members of our society and their families. In Christian responsibility, we fulfill the legal education, education and care mission for currently over 180 children aged 0 to 6 years – regardless of religious, social, national or cultural background. In order to implement this contract, our house combines the diverse talents of a total of about 80 professionals, students, trainees and employees as part of BFD, FSJ and internships. As a team, we jointly represent proven structures, but always focus our attention on the future. We are dedicated, curious, open and looking for you as: Deputy Kita Leadership in Parttime – Parental Representation (m/w/d) in 24109 Kiel, full time or at least 19.5 hours per week The body shall be provisional until 31 December. December 2027 as a period of pregnancy and parental leave.

Actively shape Kita everyday: In this responsible position, you take over the deputy leadership of one or – on a full-time basis – both of our institutions as parental representation – including all educational, organizational, human and economic aspects. Implementation of the education and training mission: Engage to ensure that our educational and educational goals become reality – in line with the guidelines for day care facilities in Schleswig-Holstein and our Christian profile. Joint success: As a central contact person, you work closely with the lines of our other day care facilities, the speaker of the operator of the Erzbistum Hamburg, cooperation and network partners as well as administrative staff. Organization and external action: In your function as a deputy director, you represent the facility not only to the outside, but also perform preparatory tasks for the creation of the evidence of use for funding. Quality and development: As part of your activity, you will bring valuable impulses to the further development of our educational concept and support the implementation of our QM system (QM elementary / KTK seal).

Completed training for the state-recognized social pedagogue/pedagogic, educator/in with relevant supplementary qualification or a study in elementary education or Social work and multiannual (4+) experience in a day care facility A further training in the management area (basic course Kita-Guit) and the qualification for the quality officer (DIN EN ISO 9001:2015)06.10.2026 or the willingness to acquire it Basic PC knowledge A structured, flexible and independent way of working, good organisational skills and an innovative way of thinking Contact and team readiness as well as a high level of empathy and commitment – also in challenging situations Membership in a Christian Church (preferably in the Catholic Church)
