Financial Accountant / Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

On behalf of an established, non-profit-making company in the Trier area, Diallo Consulting seeks an experienced personality as a financial accountant*in / head of finance and accounting (m/w/d) The position offers a versatile and responsible role in finance and accounting. The focus is not only on classical financial accounting, but also cost accounting, final preparation, liquidity planning, forecasts as well as the further development of existing processes. A professionally safe personality is sought, which understands accounting relationships, works structured and likes to think over.

Self-employed management and control of ongoing business transactions in financial accounting Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB Balance sheet accounts and support for provisions and accounts Processing and monitoring of creditors, debitors, payment transactions, receivable management and dunning Support in cost accounting and in business evaluations Participation in liquidity planning, forecasts and economic plans Examination and classification of sales tax matters, in particular in connection with pre-tax and different business sectors Control and further development of existing accounting and financial processes Creation of statistics, evaluations and setups for internal control purposes Close cooperation with the management of financial and accounting as well as adjacent departments

Completed commercial training, ideally with further training to the account holder, tax specialist or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in financial and accounting Secure understanding of financial accounting as well as experience in final preparation according to HGB Knowledge of cost accounting, balance sheet accounting, provisions and economic evaluations Safe handling of sales tax issues, in particular pre-tax and various tax issues Good MS Office knowledge and experience with ERP and/or DMS systems Structured, reliable and independent operation Analytical thinking and the ability to question and develop existing processes Communication strength, team skills and a quick understanding Very good knowledge of German in word and writing

An unlimited position in a stable and versatile company in the Trier area Attractive remuneration depending on experience and qualification, perspective to approx. 80.000 € p.a.
