“Besser Studying” is the lived motto of the Jade University. In more than 60 innovative courses at Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg and Elsfleth, more than 6,000 students are trained in a scientific and practical way. Over 170 professors and about 400 employees are involved in the concept of our university: innovative, competent, cooperative, diverse and facing. The acquisition of qualified employees is a key prerequisite for the continuation of their positive development. Due to the outstanding importance of artificial intelligence, the Jade Hochschule develops an identity as an AI university by 2030 and implements this identity in all areas of work.

Group 11 TV-L | F&T 05/26 At the Jade Hochschule Wilhelmshaven/ Oldenburg/ Elsfleth in Unit 4 at the Campus Oldenburg or Wilhelmshaven in the project Jade Innovationswerkstatt at the next possible time in the amount of 100 per cent, limited until 31. December 2027. The Jade Innovation Workshop project aims to promote sustainable and innovative start-ups in the region. An interdisciplinary approach should enable the generation of new innovative ideas and translate them into marketable business models. The focus is on the cooperation and networking of various industries and areas of expertise to promote innovation. The aim of the project is to develop innovative startups within the region that are designed for sustainable existence. An approach is being developed by which innovative (start-up) ideas are generated and marketable as part of the business model development. Both modules benefit from active network work. The project is part of the foundation support at the university under the brand Jade Startup Box and has a duration of 1. January 2025 to 31. December 2027.

The core task of start-up management is the implementation of the work packages of the Business Model Development project building block with the content development and implementation of formats for the development and extraction of cross-industrial founding ideas with members of different studies, departments and external (cooperation) partners. Development of the individual elements of the Business Model Developments project building for the business model development of innovative (Startup) ideas Establishment, evaluation and, if necessary, further development of the already developed Sprint (Jade Startup Sprint) to transfer innovations into sustainable business models Technical organization, implementation and moderation of start-up events, including business model development Support for members of the Jade University of Applied Sciences on the topic of establishment and self-employment, especially in the business model development (founding consultancy) as well as self-proclaimed processing of all services of start-ups, founders and start-ups on issues of foundation support Initiation and continuous expansion of concepts and formats to strengthen the founding service of the Jade University of Applied Sciences, taking into account the specific needs of the applicants of all three places of study Cooperation with regional project and cooperation partners to strengthen networking Evaluation, scientific evaluation, analysis of results and documentation of measures carried out

Successfully completed university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) with economic and/or with STEM focus or equivalent degree Professional experience in business/public administration Practical experience with the subject of foundation and self-employment from own experience and/or consulting activities and professional experience in the founding scene Practical experience in projects as well as knowledge and skills in scientific work, in particular with regard to tasks Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Remarkable are: Experience in third-party projects of public institutions Knowledge of the implementation of formats to promote innovation / start-up projects Affinity for foundation and self-employment Embossed contact and communication skills, in particular safe occurrence in interaction with internal and external partners Teamability Self-employed Above-average creativity and problem-solving competence
