Our Department of Defence & Security is a recognized technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the monitoring of analyses, development and implementation projects and the provision of services. Since the IABG was established, the division has been committed to the armed forces in a special way and is a unique, manufacturer- and product-independent service provider for the Bundeswehr.

Activity

• They analyse management and communication systems taking into account, inter alia, antenna systems, data formats and transmission protocols and derive their skills
• The assessment of the integration of these management and communication systems and their influence on an active network is also one of your tasks. An important role here is the susceptibility to interference or interference resistance and the resulting effects on the composite
• The development of technical concepts for the development and use of test stands and the subsequent verification of your concepts within the framework of national and international detailed, practical campaigns belongs to your daily business
• The execution of the test and verification campaigns will help you significantly with your domain knowledge, starting from the use doctrine down to the signal level, and will operate test setups and analysis software in the laboratory as well as in field tests. Simultaneously support the software department in the further development and specification of these tools
• They support the Bundeswehr as part of procurement and research & development projects in the field of management and communication systems
• They support the Head of Department at technical level in the acquisition of new projects in the field of management and communication systems, identify opportunities and work in the resulting offers
• Market and technology monitoring in the field of management and communication systems completes your field of activity

Preconditions

• You have a completed study of electrical, communications, information technology and physics or comparable fields of study (Diplom/Master)
• Their focus is on communication and communication technology
• They have a well-founded knowledge of the Bundeswehr's communication and leadership systems and their operating principles
• Practical experience in handling measurement systems and analysis tools are advantageous and the topics signal analysis and signal processing are known to you

Objectives

As a project engineer, you support the Bundeswehr in the analysis and evaluation of management and communication systems at technical level. You also contribute to conceptual approaches in the field of the further development and integration of these systems into an active network. In addition, you support the development of analysis tools and the execution of test campaigns.
