Development of Mixed Signal Electronic modules for controlling complex and robust laser systems for space applications Responsibility for electronics throughout the entire development cycle: from the requirement definition to design and prototype setup to qualified flight hardware in compliance with common standards (IPC, MIL, ECSS) Design of electronic system architecture in close cooperation with mechanics, software and systems engineering Development of multilayer circuit boards with impedance controlled lines for high-frequency and fast digital signals commissioning and verification of electronic modules, including troubleshooting, measurements and performance analysis Preparation of test plans and test procedures, development of prototypes and participation in verification and validation tests on system levels Documentation of systems according to customer and quality requirements
Complete study of electrical engineering, communications technology or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the development of electronic assemblies Experience in the design and verification of electronics with regard to robustness to external influences (temperature fluctuations, vibration, EMI/EMC, radiation, vacuum) Remarkable: experience in the aerospace environment, ideally knowledge of ECSS guidelines and their application in development and testing processes Joy of practical laboratory work, measurement technology and systematic troubleshooting High self-initiative and sense of responsibility Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
