Amazon Operations is the core of our company. As Senior Operations Manager: in this dynamic and challenging environment no one knows your area better than you. You are responsible for operating key figures and develop strategies to meet the wishes of our customers and advance Amazon operations. You will also lead a large team, develop it further and support your team leaders. A day in the life You enter several of our logistics centers. In your time on site, you will support your team and participate in operational planning. In this role you guide and motivate a team of executives and focus on long-term goals at the same time. This involves creating emergency plans to maintain the operation and reduce the impact of possible disturbances, as well as promoting initiatives to increase quality, safety and productivity. You demonstrate exemplary responsibility and focus on best practice throughout the company.

Monitoring of operating characteristics and business performance Participation in budget planning taking into account all aspects, from finance to labour planning Maintaining the highest standards in occupational safety Strategic planning for the next three, six and twelve months with a focus on planning for high season Responsibility for the executives of your area, including performance and feedback talks and their further development

Degree of study Relevant experience in a management role in manufacturing, production, sales logistics, retail or food trade Relevant experience in working within a complex stakeholder structure Advanced English and German knowledge in Word and Writing Preferred qualifications: Further degree (e.g. Master) in engineering, supply chains, logistics or manufacturing Experience in the management of third party relations Experience in the application of Lean, Six-Sigma and Kaizen methods JOBV1_EN
