Number: MER0003VKV Our department is responsible for the design and mechanical development of innovative charging technologies including their testing and series release for Mercedes Benz cars. You work close to the skin in the entire product development process from the first rapid prototyping part to the series assembly with regard to design, testing and release. Your tasks in detail: Optimisation of test bench programs for testing exhaust gas turbochargers, both for component and full engine test benches

Planning support of test benches and vehicles

Intensive monitoring of test benches and vehicles

Evaluation and evaluation of the measurement data

Cause analysis and definition of measures for vulnerabilities

Dismantling and finding of test parts incl. Documentation

Pre- and post-processing of exhaust gas turbochargers for test bench and vehicle tests

Maintenance and evaluation of the documentation databases for experimental operation

Self-processing of transferred work packages/orders

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Course of study: Vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme

Language skills: Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

IT knowledge: Safe handling of MS Office

Experiences in evaluation tools (MDA, CANape, Diadem, Uniplot) are advantageous, but not a “must”
