Your duties Production of high-quality sapphire domes according to defined quality and process standards Conducting sophisticated grinding, lapping, polishing and fine machining processes on optical precision components Independent setup, operation and monitoring of modern production systems and machining tools performing process-accompanying measurements as well as evaluating geometric, shape and surface characteristics Documentation of process parameters, production and measurement results to ensure stable processes Analysis of process deviations and support in the development of effective improvement measures Maintenance, maintenance and maintenance of systems, tools and precision measuring instruments Active collaboration on optimization projects to increase quality, yield and productivity in sapphire production Your profile Complete training in the field of fine optics, precision mechanics, industrial mechanics or comparable technical qualification Experience in the processing of highly precise components, ideally in the optical environment knowledge of grinding, lapping, polishing or comparable precision manufacturing processes Safe handling of precision measuring devices and measurement testing methods Basic knowledge of surface measurement technology Ability to safely interpret technical drawings and specifications Understanding quality requirements and stable manufacturing processes Interest in modern manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
