IT-Security Enineer (m/f/d)

Processing of security day business (e.g. security requests, reviews, releases, adaptations to policies/standards) Support for hardening, authorization/configuration checks and general security hygiene Working in security projects (introduction/further development of security tools, processes, monitoring, curing initiatives) Completion and verification of cyber insurance requirements (e.g. minimum technical standards, controls, documentation requirements) Processing of penetration test-findings: evaluation, prioritization, coordination of implementation with IT/development as well as follow-up to closure Ensure a comprehensible documentation (status, measures, risk acceptances, retests) Operation and development of SIEM/EDR-Use-Cases (Detection Rules, Alerts, Tuning, False-Positive Reduction) Analysis of Security-Events (Incident Triage, Root Cause Analysis, Forensics-related analysis of logs) Working in the Incident Response Process: Insulation, Eradikation, Recovery, Lessons Learned

Multiannual experience in IT security (Blue Team, SOC, Security Engineering or comparable) Practice in Log Analysis and Detection Engineering (SIEM, EDR, Sysmon/Windows Events, Network/Proxy/Firewall Logs) Experience in the fortinet and Windows environment, as well as hybrid environments Solid understanding of attack techniques (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK) and typical TTPs Knowledge of common security standards/best practices is a plus (e.g. ISO 27001 basic understanding) Analytical, Structured Operation Strong communication: you translate security finding into actionable recommendations Team-oriented, pragmatic, with a view to feasibility in the production environment
