In the central function Zeppelin IT of Zeppelin GmbH at the location Garching near Munich, we are looking for a “Data Engineer (m/w/d)” at the next possible time. You want to: In your role as Data Engineer (m/w/d) you are responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of data infrastructures and processes.

This allows you to efficiently and securely provide data for analysis and reporting purposes and handle data modeling, ETL processes and data warehouse automation.

To do this, you use modern tools and cloud services and develop our BI platform and architecture.

In operation, you monitor and optimize system performance, operating costs and safety standards.

On the platform you manage rights and roles and allow secure and smooth technical access to our company data.

You work closely with your colleagues in BI Frontend Development and directly with specialist representatives. Together You develop meaningful data models and reports.

Here you can secure and share your work results in the form of technical specifications and documentation.

We wish: Completed studies of computer science, business informatics, engineering or a similarly successfully completed training in the IT field

Multiannual practical experience in data modeling, the construction of ETL processes and in data warehouse automation

Very good SQL knowledge and ideally first knowledge in Python

Ideal experience in dealing with dbt

Practical experience in handling MS Fabric, Snowflake and AWS

Security in handling JIRA, Confluence and GIT

Extensive experience with agile and data-driven development processes

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
