Number: MER0003XJE You want to learn electromobility not only in the auditorium, but to help shape yourself? In our RD/ECS (Charging Systems), you work on charging and high-voltage technologies used in current and future Mercedes-Benz vehicles – from AC/DC charging system to test benches directly on the vehicle (including in the new CLA with EQ technology). Your mission Together we provide a first-class charging experience – through seamless integration of our AC and DC charging systems in electric and plug-in vehicles, modern wall boxes in the Mercedes-Benz design and charging interfaces according to international standards. In the high-voltage and charging laboratory, you can help us reliably run test environments and validate new functions safely. These challenges include: Laboratory operation & test benches: You support the smooth operation of our charging laboratories (RD/ECS), including HV laboratory and test equipment

Tests & Setups: You check the functionality of HV laboratory equipment, build special test setups for special tests and help you rebuild/exchange samples at the test bench

Organization: You're consulting inventory lists, coordinating maintenance and managing the test stand calendar

Vehicle tests: You support the performance of test cases at vehicle level (Hands‐on)

On site in the team: Work in the laboratory in Sindelfingen (Home Office only by appointment)

Course in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Similar

Very good German (C1) and good English (B2)

Secure handling of MS‐Office

Analytical thinking, structured/strategic working, team spirit and commitment

Practical affinity: pleasure in practical laboratory work and craft skills

Nice to have: Experience in soldering, PCB design or construction of mechatronic components

driving licence class B
