In our RD/ECS (Charging Systems), you work on charging and high-voltage technologies used in current and future Mercedes-Benz vehicles – from AC/DC charging system to test benches directly on the vehicle (including in the new CLA with EQ technology). Your mission Together we provide a first-class charging experience – through seamless integration of our AC and DC charging systems in electric and plug-in vehicles, modern wall boxes in the Mercedes-Benz design and charging interfaces according to international standards. In the high-voltage and charging laboratory, you can help us reliably run test environments and validate new functions safely. These challenges include: Laboratory operation & test benches: You support the smooth operation of our charging laboratories (RD/ECS), including HV laboratory and test equipment

Tests & Setups: You check the functionality of HV laboratory equipment, build special test setups for special tests and help you rebuild/exchange samples at the test bench

Organization: You're consulting inventory lists, coordinating maintenance and managing the test stand calendar

Vehicle tests: You support the performance of test cases at vehicle level (Hands‐on)

On site in the team: Work in the laboratory in Sindelfingen (Home Office only by appointment)

Course in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Similar

Practical affinity: pleasure in practical laboratory work and craft skills
