As a software developer (d/m/w), you take responsibility for the development of modern control and visualization solutions for innovative water treatment plants – from concept idea to successful commissioning with the customer: Project work & development Own responsible processing of internal and funded development projects in the field of plant control and digitization of water treatment Development and implementation of powerful control and control algorithms for our systems and products – in close cooperation with the teams of process engineering and construction Continuous design of modern HMI/SCADA visualization systems based on the developed control logic Self-responsible solution for the integration of PLC data into existing customer systems and the associated structure of the data transfer infrastructure Support in the development of software test routines commissioning, testing and optimization of the control systems directly at the customer Creation of software and plant documentation as a basis for sustainable system support and further development Product Care & Customer Care Supporting customers in the field of plant control and networking Backup, processing and evaluation of plant data Interface to Sales & Service Support for offerings and customer presentations Support for plant transfers and services

For the position in software development, you have the following skills and experiences: Complete training in the field of electrical engineering, e.g. automation technology or mechatronics - alternatively you have a completed study with a focus on process automation Multiannual professional experience in process automation or mechatronics, preferably in the industrial environment of water treatment A high motivation to actively shape the further development of our Water Business Unit and to introduce your own ideas Professional experience with PLC and HMI environments or strong technical understanding of automation environments Experience with the integration of sensor technology Analytical, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Teamability and clear communication, also across interfaces Wide technical interest and joy of working in new technologies Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (at least B2 level) Ready for occasional service trips, including commissioning or customer support on site
