The Hochrhein-Bodensee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, based in Konstanz and a head office in Schopfheim, represents the interests of around 40,000 member companies in the counties of Konstanz, Waldshut and Lörrach. As a mediator between the state and the economy, we act for the concerns of our members and act as a body of public law as legal tasks that we implement in a customer-oriented manner. Initial consulting of companies in the fields of business environment and climate protection and aspects of environmental management Supporting campaigns and networks on resource efficiency and independent planning and implementation of information events and projects on environmental and climate protection issues Representation of interests of the regional economy vis-à-vis policy-makers draft opinions on environmental and climate protection policy legislative proposals and publication of specialist contributions in the IHK media Active cooperation with partner organisations of the economy, politics and government authorities and cooperation in bodies Moderation of working groups, committees, networks, funding programmes and company-related climate protection projects They work closely with the speaker for energy and transport, in particular on topics of sustainability.
