For our SOS Children's Village Hamburg we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.) Your task: In our group “Ankerfamilie” we have been serving six children from 2 to 4 years since March 2024. Our goal is to offer children a loving and family home in the medium to long term. Together with them we create a child-friendly everyday life that combines security, promotion and care. As a coordinator, you play a central role in building the housing group, shaping the structures and supporting the pedagogical work of a dedicated team of eight employees who are on the side of the children as reliable reference persons. You accompany the children in day care and provide a loving, structured everyday life in security. Together with colleagues, you create a reliable everyday structure and promote the emotional, cognitive and social development of the children to enable their self-responsible participation in the social environment. You take responsibility for education and assistance planning and ensure good cooperation with the social environment of children. As a team coordinator*in, you organize team meetings, answer group money and coordinate the task and service and holiday planning in the team. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities.

Your qualifications and skills: You have completed vocational training or a degree in the social education sector and ideally have professional experience in stationary work. You show interest and appreciation for the children and their system of origin and are ready to deal with other cultures and life plans. You bring joy and willingness to professional guidance as well as to engage with your teammates and reflect your own actions. You show flexibility in terms of working hours and are willing to accept weekend or night services if necessary. You understand case- and residential-group-specific documentation as part of your professional work as well as writing reports. You are interested in developing professionally and actively contributing to the further development of our educational offers.
