Lead Design Engineer Process Modules and Apparatus Construction (m/f/d)

You develop the wet process modules of our production line for nitrile single gloves – from hand model cleaning and coagulant bath to NBR diving pools and wash levels. Your tasks You design immersion, wash and process basins as well as associated frames and enclosures. You develop solutions for circulation, overflow, emptying, sampling and cleaning. You define mechanical interfaces to pumps, pipelines, nozzles, sensors and media supply. You select suitable materials, seals and surfaces. You structurally avoid dead spaces, deposits, foam and particle accumulations. You develop maintenance and cleaning-friendly assemblies. You take into account welding distortion and manufacturing tolerances of large stainless steel constructions. You work closely with polymer chemistry and process engineering. You accompany suppliers, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.

Studies in mechanical engineering, engineering or in a comparable field At least eight years of experience in machine, apparatus or process engineering Good knowledge of stainless steel, sheet metal and welding constructions Experience with chemical, pharmaceutical, food or coating systems Safe handling of 3D CAD and PDM Knowledge of piping and instrumentation documents is advantageous High awareness of cleanability, corrosion and process safety
