Senior Expert Battery and Charger Systems (m/f/d)

You evaluate, validate and optimize the BMS architectures as well as the charger electronics (hard and software) of our battery systems for cleaning applications. The further development of our complex, standard-compliant battery management systems will drive you forward actively across different product lines. As a system engineer, you understand the interactions and dependencies of the batteries and chargers in the overall system. On this basis, You derive methodically hand-resistant technical measures for optimisation and problem solving. The use of modern validation methods such as SIL and HIL tests as well as Monte Carlo simulations help you to make our systems extremely robust. You pay attention to compliance with functional safety rules and advise the team proactively in the standard system design. From the overall system confession, you advise on the impact of changes in property and requirements on the system behavior over the entire product life cycle of our energy systems for cleaning solutions.

Multiannual professional experience in the development and validation of complex battery systems and charger electronics. Deep understanding of BMS HW and SW architectures as well as algorithms for battery charging and management. Safe handling of simulation and test methods (SIL/HIL, Monte-Carlo) to secure complex electronic systems. Knowledge of functional safety and relevant regulatory requirements and standards for battery systems. Safe execution of FMEAs, risk analysis in the area of battery systems and chargers. Embossed experience in system engineering, requirement and change management. You manage to communicate and moderate highly complex situations in interdisciplinary teams. Local international travel to European and Asian countries is possible for you.
