• Responsible implementation of the performance and quality planning and processing of the transferred complex product line(s) (product line management) in time, cost and quality to the domain

• Responsible for the alignment and further development of the product line taking into account product-relevant market and competitor information (in close coordination with sales and business development), relevant trends and developments in the product market, strategic specifications and objectives of the domains

• Ensuring the long-term economic success of a product line by determining the advantages and disadvantages of the products in the competitive comparison as well as the value position of the products by identifying, planning and implementing product cost optimization (e.g. driving standardization, reducing variants; also in coordination with the other product lines of the department) and life cycle management

• Responsible development of product line strategy, product roadmap and product market plans on an annual basis in terms of target plans, action plans, budget plans, timetables with product line management team

• Creation of budget planning for the product line, development and definition of a Financing concept for product development in line with responsible line managers and relevant departments (including R&E and R&T coordination)

• Professional leadership of interdisciplinary product line and release teams

• Provide market and competitive information for portfolio management and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. business development)

• Ensuring sales support (e.g. accompaniment of sales in customer appointments, delivery of product-specific sales documents)

• Making make-or-buy decisions to achieve the economic success of the product lines; including relevant stakeholders

• Maintenance of business relationships with technology partners

• Own-sponsored design and implementation of initiatives to support corporate strategy

• Completed technical or business studies (Dipl.-Ing. / Dipl.-Inform. / Master)

• Long-standing experience in project management, sales or development

• Project management certification level - C according to GPM standard

• Multiannual experience in the responsible leadership of teams

• Negotiating knowledge of English (in word and writing), further foreign language (Spanish, French) desirable

• Multiannual experience in product management (Roadmap, Lifecycle M. etc.)

• Technological expertise in the respective product area

• Multiannual industry experience

• Experiences in the field of communication technology, communication technology or HF technology
