Number: MER0003MFV In order to be able to perform an early validation of drive concepts and their functions during a product development cycle, simulation environments are used. In this software in the Loop environments, the control and control functions of virtual control units are tested and developed together with models of the systems relevant to the drive train. In addition, there is the possibility to perform test drives in the simulation environment, which is referred to as Driver in the Loop. Software in the Loop is a central means to control the increasing complexity of the vehicle software by continuous integration and continuous testing of the systems and to detect errors as early as possible. These challenges include: Development of the DevOps methods for generating virtual control units and virtual drive trains Production and extension of various automation scripts in the context Software in the Loop Implementation of defined test cases for automated testing of virtual drive trains Extension of AI methods for automated production of test implementations from requirements Development of the Driver in the Loop Driving Simulator

Degree course with information technology orientation (e.g. computer science / e-technics / regulation technology / mechatronics), completed basic study / Bachelor study Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing The basic requirement is good programming skills (Python) and safe handling of version management systems (Git).
