Number: MER000409Y Our department is responsible for the software system integration & analysis and testing of all drive components in combination for the purely electrical drives of all Mercedes-Benz series with EQ technology. Our team is responsible for operating SW system integration and securing the drivetrain software. At the heart of our work is the Defect Management, which serves as a key indicator for the SW maturity of our products to bring faultless software to the market. We are active in fully automating and digitizing our Defect management. Agile collaboration, open communication, and respectful handling shape our team culture and are crucial for the continuous optimization of our defect management processes and tools. These challenges include: Development and maintenance of Grafana dashboards: You design, implement and optimize dashboards to visualize complex data from different sources, including Jira databases, to provide meaningful insights Extraction and analysis of data from Jira databases to support process optimization and reporting Data queries with KQL: You create and refine Kusto Query Language (KQL) queries to extract and transform relevant data for analysis and visualizations Automation and Scripting with Python: You develop Python scripts to automate data processes, integrate systems, or preprocessing data for Grafana and KQL Analysis of data: You help identify trends, anomalies and patterns in large data sets Documentation: You create technical documentation for developed dashboards and scripts Cooperation: You work closely with our engineers and data experts to understand and implement requirements The activity can start from 01.05.2026.

You are a dedicated student* in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or a comparable course of study and bring a passion for data and their visualization with Excellent knowledge in Grafana: You have already gained extensive experience in creating, configuring and optimizing Grafana dashboards Very good knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL): You are safe in handling KQL for querying and manipulation of data First experiences in handling Jira databases and their query (e.g. using JQL or API connection) are advantageous Good programming knowledge in Python: You can develop scripts and are familiar with common libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy) Safe handling of MS Office Analytical thinking and a structured working method High level of initiative and willingness to learn Flowing German and good English skills Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
