Editor and Project Manager (m/f/d)

You take the control and implementation of journal projects with passion and ensure that all quality specifications, standards and processes are complied with. As a key player in the Editorial Office, you will be able to help editors and authors, coordinate thematic and scheduling and ensure a smooth running. You keep an overview of internal and external processes, plan and coordinate appointments between departments, parties and service providers with care and commitment. With enthusiasm, you implement and optimize processes for existing and new journals and take care of the care of the associated web sites. In close cooperation with editorship and Executive Editor, you actively shape the content program of the journals and assist in planning and control. You’re testing the market, knowing trends and introducing your ideas to drive innovative products and projects independently.

A successfully completed study of medicine or natural sciences and already first professional experience in the editorial, editorial office management or a comparable activity Experience in project management Experience with manuscript enrichment systems Know-how about medical target groups and their needs An excessive degree of self-organization and a sovereign time and appointment management Openness and joy in acting in the team and achieving success together A safe occurrence and pronounced communicative strengths A goal-oriented and result-oriented operation
