For the IT infrastructure group we are looking at the Essen site for the next possible (m/w/d) IT Infrastructure / IT Operations In this key role, the group management is responsible for the safe and high-availability operation of modern IT infrastructures and IT operations environments for a KRITIS-relevant organization of water management and actively shapes the digital transformation.

Leadership and development of a team of more than seven employees in the field of IT infrastructure and IT operations Ensuring high-availability, performant and secure IT operations in internal and external data centers Strategic development of the IT infrastructure roadmap with focus on cloud, hybrid and on-premises architectures Responsibility for IT security, KRITIS requirements, IT fundamental protection audits and data protection and compliance requirements Control of budget, operating costs and infrastructure projects including benchmarking, reporting and technological development

Successfully completed studies of computer science, business informatics or a comparable discipline (Master, Dipl.-Ing. or comparable) with relevant professional experience experience in operation and in the further development of modern IT infrastructures, IT operations environments or data center landscapes, as well as well as sound management experience In-depth knowledge of relevant IT standards and safety standards, in particular ISO 27001, IT basic protection and IDW PS951 Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks such as IT Security Act 2.0, KRITIS Regulation and EU GDPR Impressed communication and decision-making as well as high self-initiative, readiness to change and strategic thinking

Compensation shall be carried out in accordance with the transfer of activity and its substantive activity characteristics, as well as the completion of the training/vocational training required for this purpose, in accordance with the contract Wasserwirtschaft NRW (TV-WW/NW) in the remuneration group 13. The specific classification of the level within the remuneration group depends on the relevant professional experience.In addition to the basic tariff remuneration, a variable, performance-oriented premium payment may be granted if the conditions are met.
