The species-rich wildlife of the Berlin Zoo is ubiquitous in the design of the SO/Berlin Das Stue. Through a large window in the lobby bar, guests can watch the African animals vis-à-vis the grass and many of the 78 rooms offer their residents a free view of the enclosure and the park. Even the works of art inside the former embassy building are an homage to the animal neighbors. At the entrance there is a life-size crocodile sculpture of new arrivals, in the corridors there are two giant gorillas and a giraffe over the international audience. If you want to experience the animals of the capital zoo, you can enter the zoo directly from the hotel's terrace.
