Establishment and coordination of a data governance in the state administration (including to fulfil the obligation to provide information under the Data Governance Act) Creation and monitoring of data quality guidelines and handling on data management Coordination of the planned and ongoing data and AI projects in the regional administration departments (heading of an interministerial working group) Conception and construction of a data and AI laboratory for the Thuringian state administration Initiation and support of new data and AI projects with external innovators (e.g. building data map/data inventory in Thuringia, post-use of a federal project) Participation in bodies and in key topics of the IT Planning Council for the Data and AI theme (including further development of federal (meta) data standards and terminologies in federal bodies and working groups)

Academic Higher Education (Diplom/Master) of Computer Science, Mathematics, Administration Informatics, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Geoinformatics, Data Science or a comparable discipline Certifications in data management or artificial intelligence are advantageous Very good knowledge of German in word and writing You have the following knowledge: mastery of at least one higher programming language and a script language Proofable knowledge in the last five years in the fields of data management, data standards, information retrieval or natural language processing (NLP) Detectable knowledge of AI technologies (e.g. generative AI, deep learning, neural networks, ontologies and knowledge graphs) Knowledge of federal IT standards (e.g. FIM, DCAT-AP.de) are desirable You have the following experiences: Professional experience in the last five years in the case of request analysis, the definition and implementation of IT projects, preferably in the field of public administration; or in IT projects focusing on data evaluation and data processing Experience in developing AI solutions or data processing applications Experience in requirements management and cooperation with IT service providers Experiences are desirable in collaborative projects and interdisciplinary networks in the implementation of workshops and cooperation with departments
