Data is your passion and new data architectures will attract you. ...will be part of our team and support us as Data Engineer (m/w/d) to develop our new data platform and thus to raise our data architecture to the next level. The following tasks await you in your position: You support us in our Sales Data Engineering team in building a Data Lakehouse You design data products based on existing sales - Datawarehouses and transfer them to the new platform. You shape the processes for connecting the source systems and accompany the transformation into the common data model. You develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines – from Raw-Ingest to the Gold Layer. You own our CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth and secure deployments. You analyze and question existing solutions and develop them in a targeted manner.

You fit us and this position if you bring the following: Study of (economic) computer science/mathematics or comparable training You have several years of experience as Data Engineer in the context of Data Lakehouse technologies (e.g. Databricks) in the Cloud (Azure). You bring knowledge of the data modeling and development of data products. Also, the Data Mesh concept is not unknown to you. You have experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. You can master the creation of ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL, Python and possibly DBT. First experiences in Open Source Data Orchestration Tools (AirFlow) and stream processing with e.g. Kafka Streams and Apache Flink are also desirable. You work structured, think analytically and organize complex tasks sovereignly. You are characterized by enthusiasm, appreciation and team spirit.
