System Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Creation and processing of system descriptions, system requirements and a complex system architecture as part of a project development, including Defining system decomposition in subordinate system elements and definition of derived requirements Modeling of the system elements and definition of the system concepts for the project and specification of the standards to be taken into account in the technical solution Implementation of customer specifications on System Safety, System Security and Usability in Design, as well as the preparation of the necessary analyses with the support of appropriate departments Coordination and development of content for a system-wide verification and validation concept Coordination in the product and project team with regard to their own tasks, problems and obstacles in the handling of tasks

Completed studies in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, mechatronics or a comparable subject as well as many years of professional experience in a similar position Experience in the design of complex systems and application of system-safety standards (e.g. ISO 61508, MIL-STD-882) as well as knowledge in safety-oriented hardware development and selection of suitable components Finded knowledge and practical experience in System Requirements Engineering, in particular with DOORS and/or MagicDraw Ability to take a leading role in the team, make clear and structured decisions and work independently Impressed communication skills, self-initiative, independent working and willingness to participate in occasional missions (national and possibly international)
