Development Engineer (m|w|d) Job ID 77626 | Location Crailsheim Your duties In your role, you are responsible for the development of automation systems and CMS solutions for electrical drive systems. You can take over the system and interface architecture by incorporating frequency inverters. The determination of component requirements for instruments, actuators and controller hardware is essential. You independently program the system and control software on different development platforms. The implementation of functional security functions and the SIL-subscription are also your activities. In addition, you integrate cybersecurity requirements. You perform system validations on function prototypes and commissioning at local customers. The project processing, service support and PLM of automation systems complete your task field. Your profile You have completed university studies in the field of automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable. Multiannual professional experience as a development engineer, at best in the field of automation, and the effort to develop new themes brings you with. In handling the programming languages according to IEC 61131-3 on different development platforms, you are safe. You have experience in system development according to the V-model. You bring the willingness to work into low-voltage frequency converters. Knowledge of the relevant rules for functional safety, in particular ISO 13849 and IEC 61508, is desirable. We require very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing. Personally, you are convinced by your analytical and conceptual thinking and the joy of working together in the team.
