Business Intelligence Experte (m/f/d)

As a Business Intelligence Expert (w/m/d), you are responsible for the technical operation of our BI landscape in the field of data and information management. You ensure the necessary provision and configuration of the technical BI systems and ensure proper and timely support. In addition, you take over troubleshooting and errors in 2nd and 3rd level support. You maintain and develop our technical BI landscape as well as its application components in the fields of reporting and analysis, (meta)data management, data warehouse (SAP BW/4HANA) and Data Lake, and take over their implementation, configuration and optimization. You advise and support users (w/m/d) and key users (w/m/d) of the BI systems, process disturbances in 2nd and 3rd level support and maintain the technical documentation and knowledge database. You actively participate in BI and data projects, create project-related documentation and support the coordination and control of external service providers. You develop and optimize data models, data integration and ETL/ELT processes and reporting solutions. You create and maintain reports, dashboards and analytical applications and ensure appropriate data processing and visualization. You support quality assurance and test management and carry out the necessary technical and technical tests. You analyze existing BI solutions in terms of performance, data quality and wartability and continuously develop them.

You have successfully completed vocational training in the IT sector or in an IT-related area. You can demonstrate professional experience in the SAP environment and ideally have touch points with SAP-based BI, analysis or reporting solutions, knowledge in SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA are of advantage. You have good knowledge of data modelling and have a basic understanding of data warehouse and BI architectures. You have knowledge of SQL and relational databases; Knowledge of a further programming or script language, in particular ABAP or Python, is advantageous. You have a good understanding of the interaction of data sources, data integration, data modeling, reporting and visualization. You can take up, analyze and transfer technical requirements into suitable BI solutions and data models together with the departments. You act customer-oriented, organize themselves and approach your tasks analytically and structuredly. Your German knowledge is at least at the B2 level.
