As a non-profit association, the worker-Samariter-Bund operates several care facilities, two outpatient care services and a rescue and medical service in Mannheim, Heidelberg and the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. At present, the worker-Samariter-Bund Baden-Württemberg e. V. employs more than 8,000 employees, of which around 700 are employed in the Mannheim/Rhein-Neckar region.
