Number: MER00040O9 As a working student in Controlling & Performance Management Debitor Accounting at Mercedes-Benz, you get the unique opportunity to actively participate in the management and optimization of our business processes. You help our team make informed decisions and make the performance of our area transparent. If you are an analytical head who wants to work with numbers and create real added value, then you are right with us! These challenges include: Performance Management: You prepare data for management meetings and provide a clear and concise presentation of complex facts You visualize key figures and results in attractive presentations (e.g. PowerPoint) or with other innovative presentation tools to create decision bases

Controlling: You actively support the strategic and operational planning of our area and help define goals and take action The collection and processing of relevant data for analyses and reports is one of your core tasks You participate in creating reports for management and contribute to creating transparency about our performance Monitoring of key metrics and identifying deviations are also part of your task You support the identification and assessment of risks under risk management You’ll start forecasts and help us identify and respond to future developments early on

The activity can begin from May 2026.

You are a registered student* in economics, business informatics or a comparable degree course, ideally focusing on controlling, finance or business analytics Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, are of course for you Ideally, you will bring knowledge of other data processing and analysis tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate, Macro Programming, VBA) and enjoy working in new systems

Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing You have a strong communication strength and the ability to explain complex facts in a comprehensible way A high number affinity, analytical thinking and a structured way of working distinguish you You are committed, proactive and like to work in the team
