Construction Manager / Head of Design (m/f/d)

The future job owner (m/w/d) assumes the overall technical responsibility for mechanical engineering in machine and plant engineering and ensures compliance with the highest quality standards. You lead a team consisting of 15 employees both professionally and in a disciplined manner and are responsible for the targeted further development of the team members. You also take over the planning, control and implementation of demanding construction projects (from the concept phase to commissioning) and in this context coordinate the coordination with customers, suppliers and other project participants. You also operate active interface management to adjacent specialist areas such as project management, production and sales. The continuous development of design standards, standards and guidelines also belong to your diverse range of tasks.

The position addresses candidates (m/w/d) with completed studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical qualification. Based on this, the future job owner (m/w/d) has many years of leadership experience (for at least 10 employees) within the mechanical design, which has ideally been acquired in the context of machine and plant construction. You also have a well-founded knowledge of machine design and how to use appropriate software such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault. Personally, you convince with an analytical and structured way of working and a pronounced, technical understanding. You are also powerful, team-ready and communicative. Very good English knowledge of word and writing as well as the willingness to occasional, also international missions round off your profile. .
